The Imposter "Reich Edelmann"

This guy whose first name is actually Ingolf, is a regular at The Prancing Peacock inn, he mostly comes here to drink "for free" and make a fool out of himself.

If you leave your ale unnoticed, there's a good chance Ingolf will have had a taste of it or even emptied the tankard before you're back. This evening Ingolf was caught red handed stealing someone's ale and the ogre bouncer Leopold gladly tossed him out on the street.

Having tried this before, Ingolf knew that he would never get back inside by arguing with the menacing ogre. Last time he did that things got rather unpleasant and violent! No, to get past the ogre and back inside to the sweet, free ale, Ingolf would need to use all his wits and cunning.

He knew that a nobleman would have no issue getting inside The Prancing Peacock as the annoying halfling proprietor instructs the ogre bouncer to always let the noble and rich into the establishment.

All Ingolf needed to fool the stupid ogre bouncer was a fancy name and a clever disguise. So out into the dark streets of Dunkeldorf he ventured and shortly after returned as the nobleman "Reich Edelmann".

A dirty, wet feather stuck into his hat, a "new" boot (The ogre probably wouldn't notice the big hole in it), a foul-smelling glove and to complete the impeccable disguise; a piece of rusty "jewelry" hanging from a string.

That stupid ogre and his even more stupid halfling boss in their stupid matching outfits will have to let me in now, Ingolf thought to himself as he stumbled towards the ogre, one very slow step at a time trying to keep his balance all while reciting "I'm eh.. Reich.. Edelmann" to himself. What could possibly go wrong?

Guidobaldo the Merchant

Nana has finished painting Guidobaldo de'Foscari the Merchant! Once Frieda and Frauke are painted we believe that there will be some very joyful scenes with people laughing and celebrating around the tables in the Prancing Peacock :D

Guidobaldo is a very eccentric, larger than life character and even the flicker of something funny will send him into an uncontrollable fit of laughter, much to the amusement of the other tavern patrons around him. He has traveled to Dunkeldorf for the Mond Festival to enjoy himself and to sell his fine silk wares.

Most people don't know anything about the merchant.. With the exception of Detlef who has heard a bit of gossip about the rich gentleman just recently.

Guidobaldo apparently decided that it was a good idea to leave his home country BEFORE paying off his large debt to those who helped build up his business. Now, a couple of years later, it seems that the merchant's past has finally caught up with him as a few of his old business partners have tracked him down to Dunkeldorf.

While Guidobaldo is feasting and drinking, Detlef is considering whether to help the merchant get rid of his former "Friends" or the easier task of handing him over to them instead. In the end, it all depends on how much coin the big guy brought with him to Dunkeldorf...
